"Johannesburg Eenhonderdjaar" (in Afrikaans): Covers the period 1886 to 1986 - superb pictorial history of Africa's greatest city: with many old photographs of the gold rush period and early settlers, through to the P.W.Botha era; 328pp.
Condition: first item: softcover in good condition, spine creased/faded, and some edge wear. The gummed binding is generally good, though with a tendency to crack when opening, due to ageing. Second item: book, very good and clean throughout, binding tight. Jacket: worn with chipped edges and a few patches of loss at extremities.
