LASBRIEF: DOODVONNIS (Warrant: Death Sentence), 297x210mm, "Lasbrief: Doodvonnis, in die Hooggeregshof van Suid-Afrika, uitgereik in die 1970s. (Warrant: Death Sentence in the Supreme Court of South Africa). Issued in the 1970s. Capital punishment in South Africa was finally abolished in 1995 following a five year moratorium. 3 pages with text, the last page is blank. There is a crease running through the centre of all the pages, glue marks at the corners of each page not affecting the text, a small tear at the fore edge of the front page and a chip with minimal loss at the bottom edge, pages yellowing. + The Death Penalty in South Africa, 15x20cm booklet, 17pp in stiff paper wrappers, Addresses at a Symposium entitled "The Abolition of the Death Penalty" held under the auspices of the Society for the Abolition of the Death Penalty in South Africa in Johannesburg on 15 April, 1971.
