8vo (23.4 x 15.8 x 3.8cm) Original full leather bindings, with gilt lettering to spines, and gilt inlays to the spines and boards. 2 copies also have gilt lettering and portraits of Dickens on front boards. 4 raised bands on spine. All edges gilt. With lint bookmarks. Each book comes with a frontispiece of the author and with illustrations throughout text.

1. Great Expectations, vii + 457pp.

2. A Tale of Two Cities, viii + 371pp.

3. David Copperfield, xvi + 821pp.

 

Condition: Very good. 'Great Expectations' has some very small scuff marks to the edges of the boards and the tail of spine. 'David Copperfield' has some light indentations to half title pages, from old pricing in pencil (since erased). Some rubbing to top edge of textblock, with gilt fading. All three books are solidly bound, with clean and clear text.
