Part II of Volume I Trouble Bewteen The Boers and Great Britian, including the war of 1899-1900 up to Entry of Lord Roberts and his Army into Bloemfontein on March 13, 1900 by Murat Halstead. Pages 263- 418.

Volume II- A History of South Africa and Its People, including The War of 1899, 1900, 1901 an 1902. vi plus Proclamation by Roberts pages 525-858. With a further article LIFE OF CECIL JOHN RHODES by Murat Halstead- 63 pages text plus 36 pages appendix(Australians Ever Ready-Volunteering by Thousands).

Book contains numerous photographs, several have small repairs. Overall tightly bound and good reading copy.
