This portfolio comprises prints of some of the best and most significant drawings and one watercolour of one year’s work in the life of Julian Motau.

10 individual prints 9 black and white,1 in full colour housed in a cream card portfolio, which is slightly worn Each one is numbered on the print and has a pencil limitation 23/50, a very good set.

Extracted from the portfolio: Julian Motau. Born of the Venda Tribe Tzananeen Christmas Eve 1948. Went to school in Tzaneen till Standard 6. Studied for 3 or 4 month with Judith Mason. Had a one man show in 1967 in Johannesburg at the Goodman Gallery. Sold to Ameirca, Israel, Italy, France England and Norway. Was booked to show Israel and Oxford as well as Pretorian in 1968. Was shot in Alexander Township 17th February 1968, one week before the Pretoria show.
