Book condition: 304 pages, internally clean, pages are lightly yellowed, offsetting to the front and rear free end pages, gift inscription neatly placed on the front free end page dated 11 July 1925, extremely light foxing to the half title page, 26 plates consisting of various photographs, maps and illustrations, the binding is tight and square, the head and heel of the spine as well as the corners of the front and rear boards are lightly bumped and slightly rubbed, the bottom edge of the book has blue colouring due to rubbing from the heel of the spine, acid free plastic protective casing has been placed over the book.
