The plates are in the later issue format (with double line borders) as in the copy in the Strange Collection and as illustrated in Vol. One of 'The Catalogue of Prints in The Africana Museum' by R.F. Kennedy, 1975. Bound in modern 1/2 leather and marbled boards.
A very good clean copy with occasional minimal inconspicuous foxing. Signature on the half-title page and some professional restoration to this page and to some tears of the Giraffe plate opposite page 229. An attractive copy.
