This is the second title of the Africana Collectanea Series. This title was limited to a total of 750 copies, of which 50 were bound in leather. Original brown leather spine and corners with gilt titling on a green title panel and the publisher's device on the upper board. Introduction dated 1962 by Ian Mackenzie. This is a facsimile of the 1851 London edition, plus 40 more pages of the Grahamstown edition and a total of 17 plates from the different editions. Volume 1 to 351 pages and the second part has 160 pages. CONDITION DETAILS: The binding has a few wear marks, a few pages have small corner creases and the paper is toned.
