A most interesting 2pp. autograph letter (circa 200 words) to Professor Myers, dated 3.2.32 on her addressed letterhead with the address altered in Millin's hand to read "34 Pallinghurst Rd, Westliff". She thanks the recipient for his kind words "I suppose, after Mrs. Aab, you think I need cheering words. But wasn't it Emerson who said one should not pity a tragic writer - he relieves his troubles on paper?................& if Mrs Aab didn't sell quite as liberally as I hoped, she sold perhaps as much as a book of that kind has a right to expect." (Referring to Millin's novel, The Sons of Mrs. Aab, published in 1931). She also refers to her lovely new Baker house. (Sir Herbert Baker, prominent architect in South Africa). With some comments on "the mess the world is in" and a mention of her problem of insomnia. On a single leaf with slight foxing but still about very good.
