First edition of this twentieth century classic. In the original pale green cloth which has a somewhat sunned spine as is common. There is a bookplate and dated signature on the front pastedown. Pages 222 and 223 have some margin stains. Otherwise the book is internally clean and unfoxed. There are some smallish black marks on the top edge of the text block slightly affecting the inner top edges of the cloth. The spine has a slight lean. Lacking the dw. Generally a very good minus copy but with an attractive low reserve price.
