Kentridge was commissioned in 2006 by the Metropolitan Opera House in New York to design and direct the opera The Nose by Shostakovich. He set to work and imagined as an adventure with the protagonist of The Nose, through modern Russian Literature and Art.
There is a small tear on the cover which has been repaired, otherwise a very good clean copy.
