A very scarce 15pp. pamphlet in the original printed red stapled wraps. Containing extracts from The Story of an African Farm and Dreams with a 3pp. Introduction by her close friend Anna Purcell. Published by the Cape Women's Enfranchisement League of which Schreiner was a "Vice-President" (see image of rear wrapper). In the foreword, Purcell extols Schreiner's importance in the Woman's Suffrage Movement, particularly in South Africa. In the event, women did not get the vote in South Africa until 1930. This pamphlet precedes Schreiner's major work, Women and Labour, by 2 years.  SABIB Vol. 4, Page 165 (8 copies).

There as a split of the wrappers along the lower third at the spine. There is also a 18x3mm. chip adjacent to the spine of the rear wrapper. The re is some fading of the red adjacent to the spine. A very good minus copy of this scarce ephemeral item.
