A one page undated autograph letter to a Mrs. Scholtz from Cecil John Rhodes. Circa 30 words. Regretting he is "engaged tomorrow" but offering to see her "new purchase as soon as Parliament is over". Written on the obverse of a single folded sheet with an official (probably Cape) letterhead and presumably written when he was Prime Minister of the Cape Colony between 1890 and 1896. In very good condition.
