Each of these 50 copies has a different signed original pen drawing on the half-title page - in this copy a charming rural mountain scene. Tall narrow 4to. 67 pages of letterpress comprising poems and short prose pieces in English and Afrikaans by the artist, illustrated in black and white and 8 additional pages of colour reproductions of the artist's work inserted in the middle of the book. The glossy front panel of the dustwrapper of the regular edition of this book has been bound in as a preliminary page. A fine copy of this scarce book - to the best of my knowledge the first copy to have been offered on this auction site.
