Post card with title "Boeren Krijgsgevanenen Kamp Ahmednagar"
Ahmednagar is located on the Sina River in India and was home to a large British Army base at the time, hence the location of the Prisoner of War camp. The postcard has been annotated in pen: "taken during Boer War where. Edward Weeks James & son Harry spent 2 years" These two individuals, Edward Weeks James and Henry Edward James of Johannesburg were captured and became prisoners of war.
