A miscellaneous lot of ephemera, comprising: 1. Death Notice and Funeral Invitation of "Mevrou Gezina Z.V.W. Kruger, wife of President Kruger, dated 21 July 1901. Single sheet 4to. size. Some wear and a 2cm. tear at the fold. 2. Small card "In remembrance of CRONJE, Commandant-General of the Boer Forces. Who succombed to an attack of 'Bobs' on Mauuba Day. February 27th. 1900." 3. Very early printed ephemera, being the death and funeral notice dated Kaapstad. 21 May 1837, of a Mrs. Geyer, widow of one George Ferdinand Geyer. 4. One large folded page printed notice entitled "How to Vote" dated Cape Town, September 1910, by "Parson Lot". Rather frayed and torn with some loss. 5. Staats-Courant. Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek, dated Woendag, 6 October 1897. Some 60 pages in four sections folded but in good state. Features a proclamation by Kruger, Staatspresident, Wet No. 11, 1897 regarding Mine Regulations and much else. Some fraying and tears but a nice copy.
