Includes large folding maps and one very large folding map with information on the gold fields of the region.

PART II: 121pp.

Reports of Conferences held by the Commissioners and of Evidence taken by them. Contains transcripts of meetings with the Boer leaders.

The Commission was appointed to carry out the Treaty of Peace following the First Anglo-Boer War (1880-1881), returning territory to the Boers after the British defeat.

Binding tight. Two of the large maps have a few marginal tears but with no loss of paper. Overall good condition.
