Head/heal are a bit bumped, also has some rubbing along the edges and on the corners. Slight wear to edges. Spine discolored but still legible. No DJ. (1000 copies printed).
Thomas Sturge Moore [1870 1944], English author, poet and wood engraver especially noted for his bookplate designs.
He designed several bindings for Yeats. Relatively insignificant discolouring of pages. A handsome, tight and attractive copy in rather good condition.
Yeats is considered amongst the great poets in English literature and was the first writer from Ireland to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature (1923).
