Interesting lot of ephemera, comprising: 1.Invitation card from the Prime Minister to attend the Funeral of the Right Hon. Cecil John Rhodes, hand addressed in fading ink to the Game Keeper of the Right Hon. C.J. Rhodes. 2. Second (different)inivitation to the Funeral Service of Rhodes hand addressed in ink to Mrs. & Miss Curry, with a large unidentified signature across the text of the card, with 3. The original Civil Service Club envelope with Miss Curry penned on the front. 4. The Funeral Obsequities of the late Right Hon. Cecil John Rhodes at St.George's Cathedral on Thursday,April 3rd. 1902. This is an 8pp. pamphlet, 16x10cms. with some fishmothing of the fore edge and some loss paper at the front of the title page (see scans). 5. A clipped signature of Rhodes about 7x4cms. on a light card "Reply at once, yrs, C.J. Rhodes".
