The two volumes in this set are bound by Peter Carstens in half red goatskin and hand-marbled paper, top edges gilt, with 2 ribbon bookmarkers per volume and housed in matching slip-cases. The decorative end papers are green in colour and textured.
Volume one has 226 pages, 44 full colour illustrations and 2 maps. Volume two has 240 pages, 48 full colour plates and two maps.

CONDITION DETAILS: The two slip-cases have minor signs of use. This set was well looked after and is still clean.
