This 18 page booklet was issued to Cape Mounted Riflemen from 1892 onwards. It contains much of interest such as pay scales, equipment, rations, illness, horses, discharges, burials, rules of behaviour from drunkeness to gambling, etc.
CONDITION DETAILS: A well used copy which has wear and soiling throughout, but is complete. Many of the pages are no longer being held by the original staples which are rusty. The outer wrapper, with the first and last pages, has split along the fold.
