How it works

Register

Adventurer, hunter, soldier, transport rider, farmer, Mossop started farming in Portuguese East Africa in 1914.  He found adventure by joining a Boer hunting party, learnt horsemanship, how to shoot and live off the veld, at that time teeming with buck, wildebeest and quagga. He signed up with the Light Horse Infantry and rushed off to war against the proud Zulu warriors.

314 pages. Collectors' Edition. 100 copies, numbered 1to 100 fully bound in red leather and gold blocked. This is number 28. Signed by Gordon C. Button, who wrote the Foreword. This copy in splendid condition.
