This is facsimile of the 1852 first edition published by Ackermann with an introduction and descriptive notes by Frank Bradlow. The half blue coloured de luxe binding has gilt titling on the spine, the publisher's device on the on the upper board and marbled paper covered boards.
There are 3 black and white illustrations in the introductory text, followed by the six high quality facsimile plates.
