Signed limited edition: xxxv + 143 pages, 40 colour plates (including the frontispiece) mounted on white card with captions on the tissue guards, line drawn title page and line drawn vignettes or titles for each act in the play, publisher’s full vellum decorated and titled gilt on the upper cover and spine – the vellum is unusually clean and bright, the brown silk ties are detached but present, light foxing on the endpapers and verso of the frontispiece, top edge gilt, other edges uncut – the fore-edges are lightly foxed, the plates and contents are bright.
