A scarce copy of the British soldier's copy of the New Testament, which was issued to servicemen during the Boer War; softcover, stiff wrappers, decorated with the Union Jack and English flags on the front cover, and two other flags on rear, 400pp. Condition: wrappers are in a worn state, contents somewhat yellowed with age, and some page edges are torn, with a few small soil marks on the lower edge, spine faded. Text still in good condition.
