Something of Value. This is considerably more than a book about the Mau Mau terror which has claimed constant attention on the front pages of the world for the last two years(1955). A great deal has been written about the Mau Mau. A geat deal of foolishness has been committed in the failure of the British to recognize that what they saw happening to themselves in Kenya was not, as they first thought, a local bush fire, but a symptomatic ulcer of the evil and unrest which currently afflicts the world.Foreward with 549 pages text and glossary.

Dustcover has been trimmed about 1cm top and bottom. There is a book plate to front paste down from the library of Willy Hoefflin who was chef at the Savoy Hotel-London and Manager of Shepheard's Hotel in Cairo....Very clean copy.
