Vol III - From the battle of Colenso, 15th Dec. 1899, to Lord Roberts's advance into t he Free State, 12th Feb. 1900,
Vol. IV - From Lord Roberts's entry into the Free State to the battle of Karree,
Vol. V - From the disaster at Koorn Spruit to Lord Roberts's entry into Pretoria,
Vol. VI - From the occupation of Pretoria to Mr. Kruger's departure from South Africa, with a condensed account of the guerilla war to March 1901.

Colour frontispiece in each volume, numerous other full-page plates and portraits - some in colour, maps and engravings in the text, light foxing throughout - the preliminary pages are more severely affected, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, quarter red leather is lightly faded and worn, gilt lettering on spine, red cloth sides.
