SOUTH AFRICAN SILVER (Coins - 3.5 oz\'s of Silver )

A small collection of South African silver coins consisting of the following: 24 x 3 Pence (Tiekies); 2 x 1 Shillings; 1 x 2 Shillings (Florin); 4 x 2.5 Shillings (Half crowns)

The 24 Tiekies are dated as follows;

1 x 1925, 1 x 1927, 1 x 1928, 1 x 1932, 1 x 1933, 1 x 1934, 1 x 1937, 1 x 1938, 1 x 1941, 1 x 1942, 1 x 1943, 1 x 1945, 1 x 1946, 1 x 1948, 1 x 1949, 1 x 1950, 1 x 1951, 1 x 1952, 1 x 1953, 2 x 1955, 1 x 1956, 1 x 1958, 1 x 1959

The 2 x 1 Shillings are dated 1954 and 1960

The single Florin is dated 1954

The 4 x Halfcrowns are dated as follows;

1 x 1927, 2 x 1953, 1 x 1957

The collection is conservatively estimated to be worth at least $500 according to Herns Guide\'s \'good\' values. Many of the coins are in much finer condition than \'good\'.

A low reserve has been set at just 10% of the collection\'s conservative estimated value. (Just the 1925 Tiekie is worth at least double this reserve)

The combined total silver content of the collection is 100grams (+/- 3.5 oz). This alone equates to +/- $117 at time of listing
