Publisher's red cloth binding with gilt titles on front panel and spine.

260pp.

Book is in excellent condition with clean white pages, solid binding and sharp corners. There is a single rubber stamp on the front endpaper of the South-African Consulate-General in Hamburg.

The original dust jacket is in very good to near fine condition with only a small chip at the top edge of the front panel, light fading to the spine and the number 629 written on the bottom half of the spine - which presumably would have been the catalogue number for the book when it was still located in the library of the consul general.

"A brief but comprehensive account of the country of South-West Africa, its history, its people, its resources, and its great possibilities."

Dedicated to General Louis Botha.
