A commercially published album with 230 pages of contemporary black & white photographs, mostly full-page, a few pages with 4 small photos to a page (mainly of the Trappist Monastery in Mariannhill). The photographs are of urban & rural scenes throughout South Africa with some native portraits. The red boards are slightly rubbed & the front hinge is a little wobbly. The photographs are printed on glossy paper & are crisp & clean.
