Very good (-) publisher’s original brown cloth covers with titles in gilt on the front cover. Narrow strip of fading alongtheu left hand side of the front cover. Browning/toning to the front and rear endpapers. 50pp with approximately 106 blacked white illustrations (including a three page panorama of Johannesburg) and 6 pages of text. Some slight browning/toning to the edges of the pages but the illustrations themselves are unmarked.

G. B. & Co. (G. Budricks & Co. (aka Budrick’s Art Galleries) was located on the corner Adderley and Church Streets, Cape Town, and published a number of souvenir photo albums and postcards covering South African, Rhodesian, and Nyasaland scenes in the late C19th. and early C20th. Budricks appears as a picture framer and dealer in Juta's Directory of Cape Town from 1897 onwards, but only in 1910 is the firm listed at G. Budricks & Co., Fine Art Publisher and Manufacturer, P. O. Box 1018, Cape Town.)
