Czech (Dr. Kenneth) An Annotated Bibliography of African Big Game Hunting Books 1785 – 1999, page 255. The author travelled to Nigeria in the late 1920's, visiting tin mines and native tribes before embarking on an elephant and buffalo hunt in the Ningi Forest. On a second trip in 1929, he stalked elephant near Ewu, than was back in 1931,hunting buffalo and elephant in the Annam Forest near the Niger River. He felt sportsmen were missing a good hunting area in West Africa due to the lure of the great game fields of Eastern Africa.
