This book is one of the sought after large format pre-war London copies with a dust jacket. The later South African editions were printed in a smaller format. Original green cloth boards with white titling on the spine. 288 pages, 57 black and white photographic illustrations followed by 16 pages of the publisher's announcements.
CONDITION DETAILS: The dust jacket has several edge tears, chipping and creases. See images for the two H.E. Sumner book plates on the front end papers. The edges of the book block have foxing/spotting. Many pages have foxing/spotting.
