Sinclair Beiles was a South African and member of the Beats in Paris, being instrumental in the publication of William Burrough's The Naked Lunch. He developed, along with William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin, the cut-up technique of writing poetry and literature. This is a volume of his poetry. However, it is most sought after and quite scarce because it is illustrated by six excellent original full page coloured woodcuts by Cecil Skotnes, with the cover also an original Skotnes woodcut. These are original graphics printed from the block by Skotnes himself. They represent his first exercise in book illustration.

There is an area of slight abrasion on a blank part of the rear wrapper, but otherwise this is a very good clean copy in the original illustrated wraps.
