Two volume set, numbers xiv + xv of the Africana Collectanea Series. The edition was limited to 750 copies, of which 50 were specially bound in leather. Original brown leather spines and corners with gilt titling on the spines and the publisher's device on the upper boards. Volume 1 has 8 prelims followed by a facsimile of the original Maskew Miller edition, xiv prelims, 754 pages. Volume 2 has 6 prelims, followed by the facsimile, xv prelims and 497 pages. A useful edition for researchers as the publisher included the Killie Campbell Library Index. CONDITION DETAILS: A lightly used copy. The bindings have a few scuff marks, otherwise clean.
