Standard and definitive edition and reference work. Volume I- xiv plus with 732 pages text. Volume II- Covers from 1842- 1845. xv plus 484 pages text.Both copies have been attacked by worm to prelims,and as the binding appears later than the publishing date, the binding is not effected at all. The heads/bottom of prelims have been masked where the holes were prevelant. There are the odd holes left untouched.The book has some intermittent foxing, hence a good reference/ reading set, with very good binding.
