The picture on the front board is of two men standing on a cliff looking out at sea to where there are flames on the horizon.
Head and heel are slightly bumped and has some foxing on the fore edges. Illustrated with black and white plates throughout the book, and has a frontispiece with a tissue guard.
Offsetting on the front/back pastedown and front/back end paper, previous owner’s inscription on the front endpaper.
Overall, the book and binding are in good condition.
