Two volume set. The first volume is \"A Pictorial Record of Early Johannesburg\" and the second volume continues the Johannesburg theme, but also includes photographs of the Boer War and other major Southern African towns and cities around the turn of the century. Both volumes are bound in their original boards. Both volumes have thier original dust jackets, pictorial end papers,profusely illustrated. Neither volume is paginated. CONDITION DETAILS: The dust jackets are torn and repaired with tape. The first volume has a gift inscription card pasted to the free front end paper. The title page of volume 2 has some abrasion marks.
