Decorative gilt design on the front board and gilt titles to the spine. Head/heal and corners are bumped and has some rubbing along the edges.
The book contains a frontispiece with a tissue guard, 10 full-page and 12 half-page illustrations from drawings by the author, and 38 black and white photographs. Previous owner’s inscription on the front free end paper.
