Original red cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. viii prelims, 574 pages followed by 2 pages of the publisher\'s advertisements. This is the third edition published by John Macqueen, London, 1900. CONDITION DETAILS: The spine is darkened and has a few small holes, see image. The free front end paper has a pen name and the end papers are browned. 3) \"Rights and Wrongs of the Transvaal War\" by Edward T. Cook. Original red cloth boards with gilt titling on the spine. xi prelims, 393 pages followed by a total of 34 pages of the publisher\'s advertisements. This is the \"New and Revised\" edition published by Edward Arnold, London, 1902. CONDITION DETAILS: The fore edge has been roughly sanded, presumably to remove a stain. Overall a decent copy.
