Cloth a little worn to edges; sunned, esp. to spine; prize inscription to recto of frontis.; moderate foxing throughout; publisher\'s catalogue pages browned; old tape repair to fold of map. Good. (Hackett, p. 190; Mendelssohn I, p. 444) \"This volume contains an account of the battles of Dundee, Elandslaagte, Lombard\'s Kop, and of the siege of Ladysmith, &c. &c., together with maps and illustrations.\" - Mendelssohn. Clement Stott was an architect and surveyor in colonial Natal, also serving as a Maritzburg councillor between 1904 and 1906. He was appointed Borough Valuator for Pietermaritizburg in 1906.
