Bound in blue cloth with title embossed on upper cover and gilt titling on the spine. Cloth lightly insect scarred and back top corner bent, endpapers browned with slight foxing to preliminary pages but body of book is unblemished.
Usually found in red cloth with gilt titling and decoration on the upper cover and spine this appears to be a variant binding of the first edition. There was a second edition in 1914.
