A detailed account is given of each division in the Cape, with appendices which traverse almost every subject which might need attention or investigation of new-comers. Several maps show the rainfall throughout South Africa, while others give the distribution of sheep, goats, horned cattle, horses, and ostriches over the colony. (Mendelssohn. Volume I  Page 233)
