The first UK edition of this major twentieth century classic, published the same year as the US edition. Apart from light ownership rubber stamps on both front and rear endpapers and bookseller's labels on the lower edge of both the front pastedown and the title page (see images), this is a fine crisp possibly (amazingly) unread and otherwise unmarked copy in a near fine unclipped complete dustwrapper which has only the slightest edge of edge rubbing mainly at the top of the spine with one tiny 2mm. chip. A superior copy.
