'Originally published in Britain in 1937, the demand for Coast of Diamonds has increased over the years and the book has virtually become unobtainable since the war. For Lawrence Green's large public this is the second of his pre-war books to be published in South Africa. His books had the same lyrical press overseas as in this country. The London Times, Illustrated London News, etc. all praised his work.
