Engraved by J. H. Clark and C. Dubourg; with a Preface and Copious Descriptions, by Captain Thomas Williamson; accompanied with a Brief History of Ancient and Modern India, From the Earliest Periods of Antiquity to the Termination of the Late Mahratta War, By F. W. Blagdon, Esq.

First Edition: 149 pages + (ix pages General Index to the brief history of India), 20 hand coloured aquatint plates within engraved borders, contemporary green straight-grained morocco with gilt and blind borders, marbled endpapers, spine titled and decorated gilt panels - the leather is worn along all the edges and splitting at the top of the spine, all edges gilt, some very light foxing on the plates not affecting the text.
