THE  FAERIE QUEENE, Disposed into Twelve Bookes   Fashioning XII. Moral Vertues.

(iv),  406, (i colophon) pages, folio (435 x 300 mm), printed in black, red and blue  in double columns with initials designed by Graily Hewitt, original quarter  dark brown calf – with seven raised bands and gilt titling – and vellum over  wooden boards, edges uncut (with some very light spotting), contents crisp, a  very good copy.

Printed  at the Ashedene Press, at Shelley House, Chelsea, in the County of Middlesex,  by C.H. StJ. Hornby assisted by I. Jenkins, Compositor, and G. Faulkner,  Pressman. The printing was begun in the month of January of the year 1922 and finished in the month of November of the following year.

One hundred and eighty copies have been printed on paper and twelve on vellum.

(iv),216  pages, folio (435 x 300 mm), printed in Subiaco type in black, red and green in  double columns, original quarter dark brown calf – with seven raised bands and  gilt titling – and vellum over wooden boards, edges uncut (with some very light  spotting), contents crisp, a very good copy.

Printed  at the Ashendene Press, at Shelley House, Chelsea, by the banks of ‘sweet  Thames,’ by C.H. St J. Hornby with the help of I. Jenkins, Compositor, & G.  Faulkner, Pressman. The printing was begun in the month of May of the year 1924 and finished in the month of July of the year following.

Two hundred copies have been printed on paper and fifteen copies on vellum.
