Very Good. Pages lightly age-toned, the set title-page of vol.3 of Birds show more prominent off-setting as well as scuffing to the top left corner, all volumes fore and lower edges deckled except for the trimmed fore-edge of Bird's vol. 1. Top edges gilded. Very light stain down the leading edge of vol. 2 of Birds's frontis page.

A very presentable and well preserved set, very scarce in the combined six volumes. Expertly recased in half leather with new end papers, raised bands with gilt titles on red inlays.
