An extremely uncommon regimental history of the First City/Cape Town Highlanders (F.C./C.T.H.) which documents their WWII campaign in Italy from 1943 - 1945.

Publisher's brown cloth binding. 79pp. Illustrations by S/Sgt. A. G. McRae.

The book is in fine unread condition.

A fold-out map at rear indicates the regiment's movements from the beginning of the campaign where they landed at the coastal city of Taranto in Southern Italy up to the Northern Italian city of Turin.

This copy still has the loosely inserted leaf from Central News Agency advertising the availability of additional copies at their stores.

Appendices contain a Roll of Honour, Record of Casualties sustained, and a list Honours and Awards up to December 1945.
