A fine copy of the first edition, first printing of this twentieth century highspot of Economic literature and the penultimate entry in 'Printing and the Mind of Man'. In the original dark blue/green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and blind tooling on the boards. A superb copy. The binding is fresh and the gilt lettering is bright. Internally the book is bright, unmarked and unfoxed. In fact there is very little evidence of it having been read!! Protected in a custom made marbled slipcase, the edges of which are slightly rubbed. Regretfully lacking the scarce dustwrapper, but could readily be matched with a fine dustwrapper in need of a fine book - if such an animal exists. Scarce in such fine state.
